saturday scribbles

look painting the powder room downstairs and FIGHTING with anxiety has taken a lot of time lately.  winter with it’s dreary colors with a healthy dose of holidays and guilt make for a really crappy attitude!  It causes a lot of self reflection which makes me very very nervous.  So much of my life time has been spent in a mode of very negative judgments of myself!

This morning I awoke before the others, as always cause we know einstein needs his sleep! LOL.  But this is a most excellent time for me to sip my coffee and wander the blogland.

Starting here:

This blog comes to my email, Berne Brown, “Courage”.  She had a great piece about a friend, Karen, and Karen’s Book, The Beauty of Different.   Karen has a wonderful UNBOXED idea of life.  So then as I wandered Karen's blog this wonderful interview with Katherine.

So now I have shared a bit of my Saturday morn with those of you that take the time to keep up here, Faithful friends!  And challenge those of us that struggle with winter, exhaustion, depression, writers block, or hell, daily joy!

I am first going to think outside the box for Christmas décor.  Dragging those boxes and boxes of “memories” out in the darkest time of the year all by myself sucks the life right out of me instantly. Traditions, well they are filled with memories of days gone by forever! and I want to be charged with the energy of the days to come.

Not sure how yet but as I clean and put away my very small amount of “fall” décor,  hopefully the NEW will expose itself!

Update on this process asap! and please share ANY and ALL NEW ideas on the season you may have! Because it takes a lot of shared creativity to get my own stirred up!

Have a creatively beautiful weekend!
